Hearthstone is based on the widely popular online game, World of Warcraft. In Hearthstone you pick from one of nine classes available, and create a deck of thirty cards filled with “minion” and “spell” cards to defeat your opponent.

There are currently four game modes to play: Ranked, Casual, Arena, and Tavern Brawl. Each of these offers a different experience of play for casual and competitive players alike. Much of the skill in Hearthstone comes from strategy and deck-building ability. You advance in the game by playing matches with opponents to earn gold, which in turn can be used to purchase more packs of cards.
