The Pitch, a local news source, organizes this annual event that allows numerous restaurants, bakeries, and culinary companies to come together to showcase their best work. Additionally, a small group of chefs compete in front of an audience for the prestigious Gold Fork, a culinary award – in which Jewell’s own chef Jim Tinkham judged during the 2019 Taste of Kansas City.
