Photo Gallery: The Garment District

I may not have figured out what I am doing with my future, but I do know what neighborhood I want to live in. I have had my eye on the Garment District in downtown Kansas City for a couple of years now, and I often take a trip from campus to do my homework in one of the Garment District’s cafes. The Garment District is named for the cluster of clothing manufacturers that resided there in the 1930s and the beautiful industrial buildings have now been redeveloped into offices, restaurants and loft apartments. I wish for nothing more than to live in one of the beautiful, brick loft apartments, but until then I will just take pictures of them.
